Again a project for a course. “interactive communication” and the task was to tell a story with interactive elements. I developed a virtual DJ set with 2 players that can play song simultanously. You can swap each players output from left to right, can change the volume, fast forward and backward etc. much like real turntables. There are 5 songs predefined, you are able to enter your feelings or your mood concerning one of these songs which will be saved alongside all other entrys to this specific song in a database.

While mixing, the equalizer shows you the peak out of 20 channels that will be added together by the 2 songs currently played. At random times on of these peaks is taken and transformed into a value which will then be represented by on of the mood-words previously entered. This will transformed into an image catched from images.google.de to show you an animated slideshow based on the feelings of all, created by your mixing skills.
