finally my grades from KMUTT (Bangkok, Thailand) arrived this morning. It all looks very satisfying. My independent study about alternative game controls called "vectoids" got an A, my research about the differences between the asian and european understanding of media and mass communication too, and my course "network and internet security" got me still a B+. I am very happy about that and it totally fullfilled my hopes. I'd really like to go there again as it was a very inspiring time...maybe I'll do a master degree abroad.

During my exchange semester in Bangkok, Thailand I took a course about game design. Again a project for a course. "interactive communication" and the task was to tell a story with interactive elements. I developed a virtual DJ set with 2 players that can play song simultanously. You can swap each players output from left to right, can change the volume, fast forward and backward etc. much like real turntables. There are 5 songs predefined, you are able to enter your feelings or your mood concerning one of these songs which will be saved alongside all other entrys to this specific song in a database. Mucki (Messe und Konferenz Informationssystem) was originally developed as a project for a course called "teamworking and projectmanagement". In a small team of 6 students we designed a system that should keep the visitors of fairs or conferences informed about the current schedule or changes in it.
